Dar-o-divar sab jante hai puchna nahi kuch
Kuch waqt ke liye rehne wala woh bhi insaan tha

Sabab kyu kya bhala milega jo mann marzi se gaye
Khvaab-e-bad ban gaya hai jo daaman-e-armaan tha

Jana mai ke tumhe kimati chizo se lagao nahi
Toda bhi to dil mera diya hua aur bhi to saman tha
