I’ll pretend I’m jealous
Of all the fellas,
You are more than my legacy
Why should I tell us?
Yes, I do understand it’s late
But it’s not a debate,
For you, it’s an open gate
The path to my heart is straight.
It’s not about a situation
I don’t run and hide,
It’s all about an expectation
The feelings are buried inside.
You can’t have the flower without the root
It’s all about how you care,
Where can you get that sweet fruit
If you take it, is it fair?
You only see me as fire
Its love spark should glow more,
The peeping hope and desire
You must explore.
Now it all looks like a real dream
Where you’re in every face,
And it’s becoming so extreme
I can’t believe it’s a real place.
Oh, dear, why can’t you hear
My sleepless night?
It’s so dark; can’t you see I’m in fear?
For me, it has been a beautiful fight.
I just want a mighty few
Someone to hold me tight,
And say, “I miss you,
Everything will be alright.”
