Dancing In the Night Alone

Dancing In the Night Alone

She had become swept away by his presence
while they danced under the faint light of stars,
Her white dress floated around his feet
As her hands gripped onto his.

The moon is beautiful, isn’t it”? He spoke,
Watching her gaze at him in awe.

As her confused mother observed from the house,
A slight wave of worry overcame her,
Wondering why on Earth her daughter was,
DANCING IN THE NIGHT ALONE.

But the thing was’
Her daughter was not on Earth,
Not really,
SHE WAS DANCING WITH HER MAN ON THE MOON!
