Dil ka marham badal gaya hai dua nahi

Jahaan-e-husn mai kese kese husn ke rang dhale
Jism ka dastoor badal gaya par tujh sa koi dusra nahi

Hum hamdard ban gaye par koi hamsafar sa hamsafar nahi
Bad-nasib hum ke vo itni badi basti mai koi baa-vafa nahi

Khub koshish-e-tamaam kare par reh gaye na-tamaam
Sham-e-hayat jal jal ke bhi koi raushnii diya nahi

Mehfil ke shor mai teri-meri kaaii kahani kho gayi
Aise khatam hue khud mai hum ke khud hi ko suna nahi

Ek uljhan mai kaaii uljhan banaya ke phans jaye kahi dur
Ye kesa faasla kar rakha hai ke koi faasla nahi
