I change myself for you,
Do you ever notice that?
I soften my words,
Correct my mistakes,
And carry a silent hope
Within every gesture I make.
I don’t know how deeply
My feelings reach your heart.
Perhaps my words arrive as whispers,
Scattered and drifting apart.
But do you notice?
That I’m changing
Not because you asked me to,
But because loving you
Makes me want to become better.
I reshape my habits,
Refine my thoughts,
And polish the rough edges
That life has left behind.
Every small change,
Every quiet improvement,
Becomes a reflection
Of how much you mean to me.
Do you see the nights
Spent in honest reflection?
The moments when I question myself,
Searching for ways to grow,
Searching for ways to deserve
The love I feel for you.
Each sunrise brings another chance
To learn, to heal, and to evolve.
Not out of regret,
Not out of fear,
But out of devotion
A sincere desire
To become the best version of myself.
And even if you never notice,
Even if these changes go unseen,
The journey remains meaningful,
Because love has taught me
That growth is its own reward.
I change myself for you,
But somewhere along the way,
I become someone better
For myself too.
